Specimen Ordering

- Click Reset to return to the default order
Import from File
Import specimen lists from a text file for bulk population:
- Click Import
- Select a text file with specimen definitions (see [Importing Measurement List from File] for format)
- Specimens are added to the run list and assigned to holder positions
Export
Click Export to save the current run list to a text file for records or reuse.
Barcode Scanner
Connect a USB barcode scanner to streamline specimen identification:
- Place the cursor in the specimen name field
- Scan the specimen barcode
- The scanned value is automatically entered as the specimen name
- Move to the next position and scan the next barcode
This eliminates manual typing errors in high-throughput production environments.
Tip: Configure your barcode labels to include a carriage return suffix so the scanner automatically advances to the next field after each scan.
