Periodic Table Element Selector
The Periodic Table control is an interactive element selection tool used throughout AMICS when you need to choose chemical elements — primarily for [Elemental Visualization] and the [Line Library].

Display Modes
The periodic table is available in three display sizes:
Mode | Description |
|---|---|
Big | Full-size periodic table with element names, symbols, and atomic numbers |
Small | Compact display with symbols and atomic numbers |
Compact | Minimal display for space-constrained panels |
Selecting Elements
- Click an element to select it (highlighted in color)
- Click again to deselect
- Right-click an element to change its display color
- Deselect All button clears all selections
- Click OK to confirm your selection
Available Elements
The periodic table shows elements that are available in the [Line Library]. Elements are filtered:
- Noble gases (Ne, Ar, Kr, Xe, Rn) are excluded
- Elements with energy lines above 50 keV are excluded
- Already-selected elements (in Elemental Visualization) may be indicated differently
