the current results interface can be accessed using the second from the right tab in the sub tab menu the main interface window for the current measurement panel will show the material library used in the opened experiment data set it should be noted that the data structure in amics has two material libraries one is stored in the mre file, which only contains data for the database used in the measurement the other location is the common user database, which contains a collection of materials that can be used to classify any experiment data the majority of the current result window interaction can be achieved using the commands located at the top of the control window, which will update automatically when the current results tab is selected the commands available are icon function this drop down menu will allow the user to switch the visualization of both the material list in the main interface, as well as the color scheme used in the main image window the options available are primary material reference group will only show, and use the color scheme, from the top level material information primary material reference group (no zero) as with the previous primary material reference group, all materials with zero area percent will be missed (qa) primary material reference group it will show both the top level and sub spectra material information and use the color scheme from both top level and sub spectra for the image displayed material groupings show the summary data using the selected material grouping, and use the color scheme from the material groups tree & touchup steps changes the current results interface to show the spectrum tree and touch up steps associated with the current experiment data this function will send the reference spectra of the selected material to esprit for quantification unless the material has an alternative recipe assigned, the default recipe will be used it will pop up a grouping generation window, allowing the user to create a new grouping for the current experimental data it will delete the selected material grouping, or if no grouping is selected, provide an option to delete all material groups will open the material sorting context dialog with the option to sort materials by name (a k a alphabetic sort) selecting twice will sort a=>z or z=>a sort materials by percentage (i e , area percent) will only sort high=>low keep the state order will the reset order will be returned to the original order based on the mineral id it will expand or collapse any daughter trees in the material list this includes materials in groups or sub spectra in the qa view will toggle all the check boxes on or off primary material reference group with and without zero requires amics 5 1 0 or newer the released version of amics is {{version}} and can be found at docid\ se8jyhxszdqfpit7s1ja0 with instruction on the docid\ e1faehd1k20uedqhptzlx page manuals for previous versions of the software can be found at the docid\ d2biwe sybowhhdww0anz page the primary interaction with the current measurement windows will generally be viewing the material list, and the default visualization is the primary material reference group this group represents the same material names as those specified in the material reference library, and the default order will also be the same as in the library the only difference between the option "no zero" and the option "no zero" is that the visible list will show or not show materials that were detected in the current experimental data (qa)primary material reference group requires amics 5 1 0 or newer the released version of amics is {{version}} and can be found at docid\ se8jyhxszdqfpit7s1ja0 with instruction on the docid\ e1faehd1k20uedqhptzlx page manuals for previous versions of the software can be found at the docid\ d2biwe sybowhhdww0anz page a new feature introduced into amics 5 is having sub spectra and reference spectra stored under a top level material reference to assist the qa/qc process, changing the material list visualization to include the subspectra is possible the user can choose the (qa) primary material reference group option to understand the matching quality when this option is selected, not only are all the material reference materials shown (regardless of whether the area is zero), but in cases of materials with sub spectra, these sub spectra will be shown as a daughter to the top level material reference the area percent of the sub spectra and the top level material reference spectra will be displayed in this mode note the value shown for the top level material reference does not equal the sum of the sub spectra, which is why the top level material reference may also show zero area percent this changes when switching back to non qa mode, and only the top level material area is shown, including the sum of sub spectra additional information is displayed in qa and non qa mode based on the color of the material text if any material or sub spectra is not showing as teal teal color, the spectra have been disabled material groupings viewing material groups is now found in this drop down menu, and is listed under the material groupings sub menu, instead of the bottom tabs as per the previous version of amics the material groupings label itself it not active, and only groupings located under the material groupings selecting any grouping will change the visible list to only include the primary top level materials, and the groups they are a member of the color scheme ustop level primary material or sub spectra color propertiesed in the image will also adjust to the grouping colors and not the top level primary material or sub spectra color propetires tree & touchup steps the final drop down menu option is to view the steps (spectrum tree and touchup) associated with the current results data file this interface is the same as in the previous version of amics, but the access point has been moved from using the lower tabs into this frop down menu
