Touchup Panel Tab

the touchup panel tab provides users with the ability to filter and modify the classification of selected grains though the tab is called "touchup panel" it will work when in the segment or particle layer, however, any modification made using this tab will affect the grain layer this application is controlled using the property panel on the right with the following option available to the user panel properties sort by this option will allow users to switch the left hand viewing panel showing the particles/grains/segments spatially referenced, or ordered by area, bse, and shape workbench this will allow users to switch the touchup panel for touching up the results to remove measurement artifacts, or activate the target mineral quantification function filter parameters having mineral this will filter out grains/particles that contain the user selected material classifcaition minimum area this will filter out grains larger than this setting in microns maximum area this will filter out grains smaller than this setting in microns minimum bse this will filter out grains brighter than this setting in gray level maximum bse this will filter out grains darker than this setting in gray level in host mineral this will filter out grains that are surrounded by the selected material classification filtering this button will execute the filtering settings operations turn into mineral this option will allow users to select what material classification to convert the filtered grains into step name this will be the name of the filter settings that will be saved as in the material classification steps applying quick action if this check box is enabled when these settings are saved, the filtering parameters will be immediately applied to the current data set adding this button will save the current filtering setting into the material classification method step for the current result example video showing the use of touchup panel for filtering segments/grains/particles access requirements a valid license with amics offline or amics online
