When AMICS is installed a database containing over 2000 collected reference spectra and synthetic spectra. This global database can be used to assist in identifying any unknown spectra when creating a new classification library. 

The Global Database can be accessed though the Classifcaition Tab and the Mineral Standard interface, which will give access to the Global Database menu option.
